This is one band I have been looking forward to seeing for a long time and had the pleasure of being able to see during my trip back to Japan, I've probably been a fan ever since they debuted so I was really happy Mamireta had come back!
Starting off, it was the day before I went back home so I decided to do some last minute shopping at Pure Sound and Like an Edison before heading to Shibuya, which was lowkey a mistake due to how packed the area ended up becoming that I was a little late in meeting a friend to pick up my ticket, I also underestimated how popular and highly anticipated this live would be as it ended up being sold out so I'm also really happy for the band that they are so loved by everyone.
I also met quite a lot of people I already knew from Twitter and in usual fashion, I am so bad at recognising people that I didn't realise until later on lol
I was halfway in the back of the venue so I got somewhat of a good view of the members, I was really surprised by the layout of Shibuya WWW as I don't think I've ever seen a live house with several tiers(?), it almost felt like a cinema without seats, I've been to various live houses at this point that I think this was probably one of the few I liked the most.
Since I had been a fan so long but had never been to one of their lives, I knew seeing Mamireta would be an interesting experience and surprisingly Batsu was quite tame in comparison to what I used to hear but from what I was told by friends he most likely couldn't go as crazy as he wanted given the floor layout of WWW saving people from not being able to do much furitsuke, yet it didn't stop him at one point from running barefoot and jumping onto the DJ set during the live.
They had started off with performing their new song from a CD that'll be released in late March and Ryusei being a pro yapper during MC and Karu mostly staying quiet and cute as usual, Morita also brought new goods on stage to re-enact yukashita smile shopping and took photos for his 森田を探せ series (ngl I still can't find him and he was so fast I didn't see where he went when we were taking the photo, also try to find me lol) with Batsu briefly messing around on the drums which was kind of cute as well as spitting water on the front rows, I was glad to have finally been able to listen to お邪魔します live considering I knew the furitsuke for so long for no reason as well as finally learning もしもし, their songs are very headbanging-heavy so it does take a lot of practice to not feel as much pain if you're not used to it, not to mention stocking up on a lot of pain patches for afterwards (highly recommended)
Overall I really enjoyed this live despite the lack of etiquette from other fans who had shoved in front of me just to not do any furitsuke and also hit me but I'm someone who isn't very confrontational, especially in Japanese so it's something I also want to work on when attending lives in the future, but I'd definitely love to see Mamireta again.
